I purchased for $2000 the Crypto Alert as I was told that I would be able to get in on an ICO (Initial Coin Offering), like an IPO for a competitor of Bitcoin. However, when I got the email newsletter I found out that the ICO date had already passed and I would have to purchase the Crypto Coin on an open market exchange just like anyone else.

I immediately asked for my money back as their marketing materials stated that if I was unhappy for any reason I would "be taken care of and then some". However, they ignored my request.

When I finally called in 2 days later and talked to someone they denied my request for a refund. I can't say for certain at best their marketing tactics are ambiguous and at worst fraudulently deceptive.

Reason of review: deceptive marketing.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
