Originally subscribed to WWA for $2,000 with guarantee of 20 doubles in first year or second year free and 30 day trial provision . After some delays I received confirmation with notice that I had been awarded the second year implicitly as a bonus.

I didn’t notice that with that bonus the 30 day trial had been omitted. Three weeks later I inquired whether the trial period could be extended another month to give us both a chance to generate satisfaction. I was then told there was no trial period at all. They said unless I could show them where a trial was specified they would not honor that claim.

I went back and tried to find references to that original offer but Agora had effectively scrubbed the online history to only contain later versions of the 50 minute video presentation that does not mention any trial. Email and phone discourse has been equally defiant. They also added $160 to my $2,000 charge for sales tax! Has anyone ever paid sales tax on a subscription?

I haven’t tried to verify that they even paid that to some government. After that dishonest treatment, I have actively followed all Alan Knuckman’s weekly recommendations with a modest $500 investment. He advises to sell early half of an investment when there is a modest gain, so any doubles that occur will only be on 1/2 the initial investment. In 3 months there have only been 2 that barely occurred, doing am currently suffering a $4,xxx loss in addition to the original fee.

I feel like a fool for believing the exaggerated and seemingly fraudulent claims of the promotion. In addition, Alan often claims his entry price is lower than what I (and probably all other subscribers) can achieve so his performance is more noteworthy. I have written him about these distortions but Agora always says SEC regulations prevent them from answering specific questions about my issues. And recently the feedback address of AskAlan@***.com has been disconnected so they are not allowing any feedback.

Trying to contact Agora about the WWA service yields fruitless results. I finally asked the Agora customer service who I could write to with these concerns and after some delay was given a name but in writing to that person I never get any reply. After several years of dealing with financial advisory services, Agora seems to have the most promising and convincing promotions, but the worst performing services. Now they are taking this approach of offering no trials and guaranteeing results by extending a damaging and fraudulent period of the same service.

A worthless, no cost to them provision to make things even worse. They have just completed a new merchandizing scheme called 42 Day Retirement Window where they guarantee (sic) you can turn a modest $1,000 investment $420,020 in 42 days for the $2,000 fee. Same guarantee and up front about the no refund based on the incredible claim that this is such a good deal that they can’t afford to offer the trial period. I say incredible because if it is so good they could easily offer that deal because no one would exercise that provision.

I am glad to find someplace to vent these concerns on public to see if these aren’t common concerns and get ideas on how to overcome such greedy presumptuous business practices. How can this feedback venue be made more visible.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Thank you for this review. I came close to subscribing but decided to wait 48 hours before making a decision.

As their clock finished the 14 minute deadline, I did not respond. Within a half hour, I received 2 emails from Jim Rickards which was laced with all sorts of guilt tactics.

I was about to bite on his presentation. Thank you!

Have bought in to JR videos. So far only paid for cheapest subscription.

Have yet to see what this magical type of investment (in the market) is. No names of companies no buy guidance.

Have listened to his hysterical videos that sound so well grounded and researched but when he said that global warming is a fraud is when I understood he is a fraud. Anyone stupid enough to discount global warming is not worth my time - much less my money!

very helpful, thanks.

I have a family member that has invested about $10,000 in the last month. I kept telling him it was a scam.

He wouldn't listen. He said it wasn't that much he invested. Well I found a statement and added it up! It was close to $10,000 and they actually sent him a nasty email today if he doesn't sign up for this additional newsletter he might as well take a hike.

This is after he spent all this money. That is when I went investigating.

I will be taking a lawsuit out and looking for others to join me. Please respond if you have been scammed as well by them.

@Evian Oyw

Hello, This is Ian Hodgson. I am an investigative reporter at Columbia Journalism.

I would be interested in hearing more about your family member's experience and whether you have heard from any other individuals with similar stories. You can reach me at ijh2108@***.edu

@Evian Oyw

My significant other has invested over $20,000 with this company. Hence is how I have been following and getting alerts when folks post.

I told him it was a scam and he wouldn't listen. His response is it is his money and we are not married. Well funny I don't see him watching their videos and doing these video trainings in weeks.

He has lost over $80,000 from his investment and what they suggested. I hope he learned his lesson.

@Evian Oyw

My Name is: Wayne Scharf and I paid $3500.00 for Penny Pot Profits with text alerts and recomendations and received very few texts and when i wasnt getting any i had to keep calling them to fix my account over and over again, due to being bumped out of their system, which is a load of crap. Also Ray Blanco's recommendations are crap anyway.

I understand the risk in stock trading however they did not live up to what I paid hard earned money for. Which is a "Breech of Contract" and "False Advertisment" and am looking to Sue them for this crap scasm.

Curious as I am thinking of doing this also.

Wow I’m sorry for all of u hope u guys get your money back I can’t believe the ppl they use are actual ppl with careers and reputation doing all the scams. Telling u how rigged the market is

It seems like Mr. Knuckman is not the only shister out there advertising that they have a system that will bring you thousands of dollars every week, Tim Sykes, and Robert Kiyosaki to name a couple.

The common denominator is a "No Money Back Guarantee" for such a full proof system?! I see the writing on the wall, and it spells RAT! The guys are only out to take advantage of the desperate working class who just want to find a way to secure their family's future!! In my town, that type of fraudulent behavior is grounds for getting strung up, tar and feathered!!

Really, you have all this success, and yet you are still looking to pad your bank account any way you can!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves, and Larry King why would you risk your reputation by interviewing Sykes?

You all should be SHUT DOWN!! Guarded Consumer (who happens to be laid off with very little to spare!)

This is such a fraudulent approach.. I am amazed that there has not been a class action suit against this firm.

The biggest give away is there claim that "Mike" the genius who had patented the WPI has authorized them to avail this service to only a thousand investors. They might as well say "a thousand suckers"

Agora and Knuckman , and Rickards are frauds and mostly the poorest source for trading. A monkey could throw darts and have better success. These are fraudsters

As a weekly wealth alert subscriber I too have stopped following the leads given because the recommendations are rarely profitable and I can do better on my own. How do we go about a class action lawsuit?

I have received loads of BS from this Agora financial co. and none of it was even worth my reading it.

I need to UNSUBSCRIBE from this crap since I average about 20% per year in stock mkt gains, so his BS is just that......BS. By the way, after the 1300 point drop in the Dow the last 2 days, and the 287 pt rebound today, I think we are in for more pain as earnings(and forecasts) are released over the next 3 weeks. I am loaded with covered calls and QID calls.

By the way, I have been investing in stocks since 1960 and was an analyst and broker from 1971 to 1989. Hopefully I learned a few things and who NOT to listen to!

I am glad as I was ready to sign up and now will not. Thank you for saving me $2,000

Thank for the critique
