Originally subscribed to WWA for $2,000 with guarantee of 20 doubles in first year or second year free and 30 day trial provision . After some delays I received confirmation with notice that I had been awarded the second year implicitly as a bonus.

I didn’t notice that with that bonus the 30 day trial had been omitted. Three weeks later I inquired whether the trial period could be extended another month to give us both a chance to generate satisfaction. I was then told there was no trial period at all. They said unless I could show them where a trial was specified they would not honor that claim.

I went back and tried to find references to that original offer but Agora had effectively scrubbed the online history to only contain later versions of the 50 minute video presentation that does not mention any trial. Email and phone discourse has been equally defiant. They also added $160 to my $2,000 charge for sales tax! Has anyone ever paid sales tax on a subscription?

I haven’t tried to verify that they even paid that to some government. After that dishonest treatment, I have actively followed all Alan Knuckman’s weekly recommendations with a modest $500 investment. He advises to sell early half of an investment when there is a modest gain, so any doubles that occur will only be on 1/2 the initial investment. In 3 months there have only been 2 that barely occurred, doing am currently suffering a $4,xxx loss in addition to the original fee.

I feel like a fool for believing the exaggerated and seemingly fraudulent claims of the promotion. In addition, Alan often claims his entry price is lower than what I (and probably all other subscribers) can achieve so his performance is more noteworthy. I have written him about these distortions but Agora always says SEC regulations prevent them from answering specific questions about my issues. And recently the feedback address of AskAlan@AgoraFinancial.com has been disconnected so they are not allowing any feedback.

Trying to contact Agora about the WWA service yields fruitless results. I finally asked the Agora customer service who I could write to with these concerns and after some delay was given a name but in writing to that person I never get any reply. After several years of dealing with financial advisory services, Agora seems to have the most promising and convincing promotions, but the worst performing services. Now they are taking this approach of offering no trials and guaranteeing results by extending a damaging and fraudulent period of the same service.

A worthless, no cost to them provision to make things even worse. They have just completed a new merchandizing scheme called 42 Day Retirement Window where they guarantee (sic) you can turn a modest $1,000 investment $420,020 in 42 days for the $2,000 fee. Same guarantee and up front about the no refund based on the incredible claim that this is such a good deal that they can’t afford to offer the trial period. I say incredible because if it is so good they could easily offer that deal because no one would exercise that provision.

I am glad to find someplace to vent these concerns on public to see if these aren’t common concerns and get ideas on how to overcome such greedy presumptuous business practices. How can this feedback venue be made more visible.

Agora and Knuckman , and Rickards are frauds and mostly the poorest source for trading. A monkey could throw darts and have better success. These are fraudsters

As a weekly wealth alert subscriber I too have stopped following the leads given because the recommendations are rarely profitable and I can do better on my own. How do we go about a class action lawsuit?

I have received loads of BS from this Agora financial co. and none of it was even worth my reading it.

I need to UNSUBSCRIBE from this crap since I average about 20% per year in stock mkt gains, so his BS is just that......BS. By the way, after the 1300 point drop in the Dow the last 2 days, and the 287 pt rebound today, I think we are in for more pain as earnings(and forecasts) are released over the next 3 weeks. I am loaded with covered calls and QID calls.

By the way, I have been investing in stocks since 1960 and was an analyst and broker from 1971 to 1989. Hopefully I learned a few things and who NOT to listen to!

This company has been NON-Responsive to my requests. I will attempt to get a refund and would suggest that you, who have taken the time to look for a review BEFORE YOU SEND THEM ANY MONEY, will not waste your time and finances on this company.

I am also an unsatisfied Agora customer. I joined the Tim Sykes Weekend Profit...for $850.00..The offer was at least 3 to 4 trades a month...with the buy on Friday and sell or hold on Monday.

After the first Friday...I spent 2 hours looking for his buy trade...figuring I might have missed it I waited for the next Friday...and didn't get anything then either...I called the company and told them about this and they said they would check something and make sure I got the email on the following Friday...which I did...I made the play, and on Monday got the play to sell immediately...which made me nothing. Now this last Friday I didn't get the email again...so I wrote to the company and explained the whole thing...got no answer...and called customer serviced this morning...where I was connected to a so called specialist...Jessie by name (nasty, abrupt and adamant that I must have gotten the emails). At this point I am going to call my credit company for further action.

Yes, the sign in stated no refunds...but it also stated that I would be able to regain my $850.00 with one trade...and that I would get my emails promptly every Friday...nothing in spam or anywhere else. This is the third Agora plan that I have joined..and have made zip on all of them...shame on me for believing...shame on them for all these scams they are perpetrating.

I was going to sign up for some BIG PROMISE webcast tomorrow but was skeptical of these guy's performance claims, and after watching some of those super long videos and reading the constant barrage of emails, I read your complaints and just deleted the email that wanted me to enter my email for that webinar. Thanks much!Carl

I was only duped for 3 months, and thank heavens it came to an end. The subscription price is a small amount to pay compared to the losses that Agora blissfully ignores. If you could only do the opposite of what any of their gurus recommend I think that would be a service worth subscribing to.

I fully agree with “pissed customer”. I am only paper trading at this point.

If I had actually traded I would have lost a bundle. This goes for ALL Agora publications.

sounds to good to be true wish they were honest. If they were so good they could give a 60 free trial and everyone would sing up permanently at that point, this way who wants to risk $2000 not knowing if you will win or lose on your investments

I have had the same experience with Agora and have lost thousands on their gold mine recommendation news service with Byron King. A class-action suit should be brought against them!
