Agora Financial - Income on Demand

I'm neither pleased or displeased with Zach's Income on Demand. I resubscribed to his letter and I think I now have 2 years worth. I was told that I should have around $20,000 in my account to get started, However, I had to up that to another $20,000 to cover the puts that I had to buy. At this time my account is up on my trades but what was supposed to be just an option account has turned into a basket of stocks that i now own, waiting for them to increase their share price so i can either sell a meaningful call on them or just sell them. Zach is often late to the table on his option recommendations or doesn't put thought into expiration dates/seasons. I've learned a lot from this process, however, I can do it myself from here on. With this volatile market it's not going to be so easy going forward so I'm not investing with reckless abandon as i once might have been inclined to do.

Personally, even if they treated me like a King, I would still give a VERY negative review on behalf of everyone else, period!

These are my sentiment exactly as I could have written the above review.I have often not sold a put option Zach recommended and lost out on a lot of cash, but on the other hand, not buying some of his recommendations, has delivered me from being assigned some big losers.

Agora Financial - Misleading information

1.8
Details
I watched the whole sales video and they claimed for it to be so easy anyone could do it and generate at least 2000 a month, they even had a kid in their video doing the trading. I purchased the product and never got an email with the info, I had to emailed them back for log in and rest of info, after trying to apply the recommendations I found out I couldn't since it requires you to have way too much money set aside just in case for every put contract you sell. They don't give you refunds on a product you cant even use.

Agora Financial - They lied to sell the system "Income on Demand"

1.0
Details
Update by user Dec 26, 2017

Just got my credit card statement, and the charge has been added back on. I am really pissed this time.

Will look into charging them with fraud and taking them to small claims court.

Hopefully I will be able to get something back this time, permanently. I'm writing a nasty letter to Zach the editor and let him know how dishonest they are and that I will be putting a nasty review on YouTube if they do not refund my money.

Update by user Dec 19, 2017

They refunded my credit card account, though they did not send me any emails about it, nor did they send anything by mail asking for the box with the system in it. Don't know what they want me to do with the box.

I really do not trust them anymore, so will be getting rid of all the newsletters that I have gotten in the past that are connected with Agora. They should be honest in their advertising, and not hype things just to sell newsletters. Anytime you doubt the advertising, just go to stockgumshoe.com, and check out what they say.

They point out the truth behind the advertising, and they are straight shooters. They are honest to a fault.

Update by user Nov 24, 2017

Update! Would you believe that when I called them, and said that lying on advertising is FRAUD, that they would, later in the day, refund my $2,000?

They must have realized that since I disputed the charges to my credit card company, that I was not going to back down, even taking them to court if necessary. So today, 11/24, I found out they refunded my money.

I am currently going through all the newsletters I receive, and I will eliminate all of them connected with Agora. I will seek out honest people to assist me.

Original review posted by user Nov 19, 2017
They stated in their advertising that a person could sell put options with their IRA, and that there was no risk, and that there was NO LIMITS on the number of times a person could sell them. When I discussed this with my broker, they informed me that no reputable stockbrokerage would allow such a risky action with an IRA. I tried to return the box with the system in it, and they refused to allow me to return it with the refunding of my money. They lied repeatedly in their advertising, and gave no warnings as to the great risks of selling naked put options. I am trying to get my credit card company to charge them back, and if necessary, I will see what I can do to charge them with FRAUD. They should be stopped this false advertising by the SEC and charged with criminal penalties. They knew when they set up the advertising that they were lying.

Agora Financial - Not told the truth upfront

Watched a video stating that with no money (right) one can generate hundreds 0f dollars from the stock market with no experience. What they fail to tell you is you need at least 20,000 to complete these transactions. So they get you to purchase a useless book and many useless emails. If you have money I am sure some of these might work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. It has saved me lots of time and money.

Although I don't feel that medical *** penny stocks are a wash, I do believe this isn't the company to risk inveting a little spare cash in. I do believe it may be profitable to further investigate this penny stock in the *** industry though.

Have you any thoughts or experience in this at all? I'd appreciate any input.

Agora Financial - Deceptive enrollment and refund policy

originally just signed up for one service but they added more unwanted services and billed me and when i requested a refund they would only partially refund. a *** and a scam. a company like this should not be allowed to stay in business. so i did not even get to the actual investment scam because they manipulated me in the initial subscription process. truly a predatory company. agora is just a another online financial investment advice company scam that preys on people taking their monies and having procedures in place to make it difficult to get a refund. what amazes me is that they are still in business. there ought to be some way to regulate these folks out of business

Agora Financial - ROI not what they advertise and watch out, they only refund 90%

What they don't tell you, is that you'll need to tie up as much as $10,000 for several months to make $300 now. That's a 3% return on investment. Complete deception in their sales pitch on this thing. The advertisement is further deceptive in their refund policy. It SCREAMS "100% SATISFACTION OR MONEY BACK". In tiny print where you're likely to never see it, it says they refund only 90%. I subscribed and cancelled within one week and it cost me $150 to cancel. I am very disappointed with Agora's advertising practices. Their products are more hype than substance.

You are lucky to get 90% back. I asked for a refund and they said: Tuff, we do not refund.

You should not have bought. All of Jim Rickards recommendations are ***.

And why would a sophisticated person, as he describes himself, come up with stock recommendations. He probably never had anything to do with all the stuff he is bragging about.

I looked at their posted track record ...their open portfolio of excercised put options... owned stock against which they sell covered calls ... stands at over 182,000 at cost. As of July 27/16 the value of this account stands at 121,000. This 60 K loss is partially...

I certainly wondered about this. There is nothing very secret or mysterious about selling puts.

The "secret sauce" is which underlying, at what strike, and what expiration. I'm guessing the Tuesday recommendation is for that week's expiration, taking advantage of Monday's time decay.

Tough way to make $1500/month. You would have to sell multiple contracts, opening yourself to the downside of having x contracts times 100 times strike price put to you--could be 10s of thousands of dollars--not to mention the risk the price blows through the strike to the downside.

Agora Financial - Income On Demand Portfolio Exercises

1.6
Details
I too am a (soon to be ex) subscriber to Income on Demand. I have contacted them multiple times, without response, regarding how their advertizements leave out the very real possibility of losses do to the put exercises. I had the majority of my trades exercised. And while I have generated some income from selling Call options on those shares, the losses incurred in share value decline are still 9 to 10 times MORE than the income generated. I would need to see Calls for the next 5 years just to have a hope to break even, assuming I don't get the calls exercised and lock in the loss. In order to generate any reasonable amount of Income with this service (i.e., $1000/month), you not only have to have a very large account (in excess of $100K), but also need to pray your shares do not get exercised.

I would like to know how much capital you used and how long you were in the program. What I saw was a recommendation for $20,000, not $100,000 as you claim.

The recommendation of $20K an amount to "get started". You need roughly $10K per week and access to $130K on the low side and $180 K on the high side.

How long have you been a subscriber? What advises the service if a put option is exercised?

Selling calls? Selling the stocks?

After watching the video on "Income on Demand" my head was about to explode because of all the repetitious content. I was super skeptical and when I finally found out the $2,000 price tag, I backed off.

They sent me an email and tried to entice me with a lower price.

My red flags went off and common sense told me to run away from this one. It all sounded way too good to be true.
