Platium Membership

I paid $5,000 for a lifetime membership which was supposed to have given me access to each and every advisory service they publish. That is not the case, however, In order to read a certain report, They want me to subscribe to a new service. I am getting zero reports nowadays from about 9 subscriptions I already have, either on email or in the postal mail. When I called yesterday, it took 20 minutes to get a customer service representative on the line to talk to. Then she couldn't find my account until I badgered her a bit. Then I was told I would have to subscribe separately to the service I wanted. She didn't know anything about my lifetime membership account

It's the hard way, but at least you're learning.

"Lifetime memberships" mean their lifetime, not yours.

It also applies to programs as specifically set forth from Day-1.

Adds, ups, and extras come later.

I have been trying to reach the Turapur company but was directed to your company for help. Are you affiliated with them?

Do you know how I can reach them for how to return an item ordered? The charge is on my charge card. I would appreciate any help you can give. me.

I was very surprised when I was transferred to your firm and then only heard commercials. I am a customer of Agora Financial so it was a big surprise when this happened. Do you represent other products other than financial investments ?Your company has always been a very reputable source for financial opportunities and information. This company, Turapur certainly sounded legit but said that a product could be returned for any reason.

Now I have not been able to make contact with them. Anna Shaft

Protection From Multiple Billing Scams Like Agora

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Whenever I try a service like Agora, I use a credit card that lets me create a one-time card number and a pre-set total spending limit. The card number is good for 90 days and cannot draw more than my pre-set amount, in total. In the case of Agora, I created the temporary card number, put a maximum amount of $75 for total spend against that card number, purchased their $49 "pot play", and now I don't have to worry about getting repeatedly billed as though I subscribed (it was pitched as a one-time cost). In a nutshell, once I got the information promised to me by paying the $49, I realized that a) their data is outdated, b) they're selling smoke and mirrors, and c) their advice, such as it is, is ***. BUT, I don't need to be concerned about ever getting billed again from them, contacting their customer service, dealing with my bank to stop all charges from them, etc. Check with your credit card provider. Many of them offer this kind of "one time card number" service, typically for use with potentially sketchy internet purchases.

That "one-time" card is a great idea!!!! You get just a regular Visa, MC or Amex gift card for that purpose?

Scammed by the best

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I invested $3,000 in Income on Demand and first recommendation by Zach was a complete loser where I ended up with 300 shares of stock at a $1,400 loss. Then he appeared to be helping me with a program to make it up, but turned out to be advertising. I had to sell a losing contract for $350 loss as they said all I needed was $1,000 to invest. Then came the "Oh by the way it will cost you $2,000." They have not replied to my Emails of disapproval and got through once by phone and they said sorry things have not started out good for you. They boasted 98+ success rate also. I really think these guys have no experience except in BS. I give them 1 star and would give 0 if I could. I lost $3,350 so far and they are laughing all the way to the bank. Would love a refund, but that is why they do not give guarantee. Very poor customer care and do not care about their clients whatsoever.

Agora Weekly Wealth Alert is to be avoided, in my opinion it loses money and the Company has given me cause to not trust them.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Three weeks ago, after deciding this was a total bust and I was no longer trading his recommendations, I send an email requesting the auto renewal be removed. I've sent four more emails asking for them to respond to me and to remove the auto renewal. Fortunately I have many months remaining until renewal. However it seems quite apparent they are ignoring my request. Soon, after a few more emails to them, I will send the thread I am developing of all my requests to the SEC and ask if they can perhaps get a response. Additionally, because I am well documenting all of this, should they actually take the money come renewal time I can easily prove to the bank I made every effort to avoid this and feel confident they will quickly make a refund to me and they Agora can deal with a huge bank instead of just little me. Stay away from Agora for any of their products. They really do seem to be a very dishonest group of people.

When you run a sacam like this you need 1. a person with am exaggerated payment for the servicrs proviede.

The first answer> Doctors they will charge you $10,000 for a one hour operation. So Agors just inflates the buy in and keeps a lot of the money. Drs and pro-athletes are trhe best targets for these kinds of scams. They already have an inflated idea of what an bhours worth of works is valued ($10,000) so they are easier to hok because they know the short cut.

But its a short cut off the bridge & into the water and YOU drown SCam rule1 have you ever met ANYONE who did this with a profit. The answer is no but rs & pro-athltes are smarter than a guy like ,me ( an MBA from Carnegie Mtop20 MBA in tbhe country. I can see this 100 miles away. The gambling mentality appears.

so if you ared smarter & luckier than the guys runing this scam you will end up broke! AND will NOT tell a soul because its so embarrassing That is thhe perfect storm

Offered a lifetime subscription to 4 of their newsletters for a large fee and then cancelled them 6 weeks later.

Agora financial product, Alpha Alliance, had offered a lifetime subscription for their research by Lou Baesenese. This was in mid October.

Then, in mid december they announce they are closing out these services. I get a free one year subscription to the replacements but the original contract is no longer honored. The ads even stated that these subscriptions could be handed down to descendants. They must have been laughing their heads off thinking of that line knowing that they would be closing it down in 6 weeks.

They offer a 2500 bonus to any of their other over priced services.

NO thank you Agora. Beware, if they ever offer you a lifetime subscription, it is a product they are going to cancel.

Always an Upsell

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had signed on for the subscription last year because of Jim Rickards' expertise in the finance dept. and great advertising.

Though not forced to buy anything he and his internet marketing partner ( can't recall his name ) always had a "Limited-time opportunity" to get in on some stock play and it was hard to decline the offer. Had I the money needed to get the info. I probably would have splurged if only out of curiosity. I got tired of listening to him and his offers, deciding it was all about getting the cash from people's wallets and NOT because he really wanted to help.

These guys want OUR cash so THEY could invest in REAL MONEY, i.e. Gold/silver. I eventually called for a refund and received it within 48 hours, just like they said. Approach these types of "sales pitches" with much caution.

We DID invest in one of his suggestions about a year ago ( while I was subscribed to his letter) and it's not gone anywhere yet that would be worth mentioning. Again, approach with CAUTION - they are VERY GOOD at MARKETING the Scarcity-limited-time technique.

I did not get refund

I emailed them about refund of the Altucher report. First they responded they will issue a refund, but nothing happened.

From that day I have emailed them many times reminding them about the refund but never hear from them again. Stay away from Agora financials. You get email from them almost every day about new opportunities that you will miss if you don't act now, find out about this one secret that will make you rich. It's ridiculous, all their campaigns have the same format.

They make you watch their video for 1 hour, iterating how great their system is without saying anything. The last minute of the video you get to know what it's about.

I have been trying to reach you for several weeks to cancel the Rude Awakening and the Altucher Report and get a full refund for both: $50.00 and $4.95 respectively. I also do not wish to receive anything further from Rude Awakening or the Altucher Report and demand no further billing! Very disappointed in both and how hard they are to CANCEL!

No respect for Customer!

When I wish to unsubscribe, ( they provide no value to me ) their publication required that I write a letter before they would agree to stop. Such letter requires a degree of work that adds up to a real cost; a damage if you will! Then they had an automatic renewal. They did email me a notification of this. However, When I phone customer service they did not pick up the first time I phoned. ( 10 rings ). An half hour later I was successful. This difficulty in unsubscribing , I feel, is a bold display of disrespect. True Alpha in my mail box was simply a pesky lot of junk mail.

They ignore the cancellation letters anyway, do not respond to emails, then give you a number that works on a loop telling you to go to their website where you have to set up an account to try to find contact info. After that the people on the phones are trained to say NO REFUNDS but do not have the policy readily available - too many variations she said. 100% rip off to gouge consumers like this.

I had no problems cancelling my subsription to Agora

I subscribed to Agora Financial about 6 months ago. I was asked by a friend if I knew of any promising marijuana stocks, so saw Agora's offer after I googled "marijuana stocks" and subscribed for a year costing $59.

I passed on some printouts I downloaded of several cannabis stocks and passed them on to my friend. But I was also inundated with almost daily reports on penny stocks and other subjects I had no interest in. So I called Agora on the phone and asked to cancel my subscription. I didn't ask for a refund, but was refunded the entire $59.

The refund was about 2 months after I subscribed.

So I can't complain about Agora...maybe I was just lucky, I don't know. They answered the phone promptly and were quite civil in their exchange with me.
